1. Who are Magic Bus Designs?
The company was formed in 2004 after many years of working in the corporate sector designing websites for companies with more money than sense. All of our staff are freelance which is why we can keep our costs at a competitive level. For any project we can call upon a trusted team of programmers and graphic designers to meet your needs.

2. How long have you been designing websites?
Our first website was back in 1994. Don't ever ask us to show you. It was awful. How many pictures of your dog can you publish on the internet? Fortunately we moved on from those humble beginnings and, as a team, have been involved with some of the biggest companies in the UK. Magic Bus is our first collaboration and we hope that it isn't our last

3. Why can't I order online?
At Magic Bus we believe that a website is a personal thing. Every customer is different so rather than just offer a bland "point, click and get out the credit card" service we believe that each site requires a two way dialogue to ensure that everyone gets the best. You get a cracking website and we get a happy customer. Simple, eh?

4. Your prices seem too good to be true. What's the catch?
There isn't one. By using a trusted network of freelance programmers, we don't have the massive overheads of some other web design companies. Rather than pay a graphic designer to sit in the corner twiddling his thumbs, we employ one when we need one.

5. What is the bespoke service?
Whilst our standard design packages will suit most customers, we also recognise that sometimes you want something a bit different. That's why we offer our bespoke service. We'll design a website completely from scratch with your own unique design layout and features. We can create a website that totally fits your corporate identity whether it's an online shopping site, an interactive database with a web front end or you simply want something different. Whatever you want, we can do it. Just drop us an email and we can start to talk.

6. Can you design a logo for my company?
Yes we can! We have access to a number of fantastic graphic designers who will listen to your creative brief and come back to you with a range of logos to choose from. We can incorporate your existing identity or come up with something completely new. The choice is yours

7. What level of support can I expect?
We endeavour to answer all queries within 3 working days. Most times you will receive an answer the same working day.

8. How often can I update my website?
A monthly update is included in the price. Additional updates can be added to your account. If you require more frequent updates then please email us.

9. Do I have to supply my own graphics?
All of the artwork you see on our examples are subject to copyright. Wherever possible we use royalty free graphics. Obviously if you already have graphics that you would like to include then we can use them too. Custom graphics can also be purchased. Email us for further details.

10. Can I have my own .co.uk domain name?
All Magic Bus websites use a .co.uk domain name and, if available, we will use your first choice whether it's your company name or your own name. If your chosen name has already been allocated then we will endeavour to find you the best available option.

11. Why do I have to pay any annual fees?
The annual fee covers the cost of renewing your domain name and for administration costs involved in constantly monitoring the webserver and your monthly updates.

13. How do I order a website?
Once you have decided to get us to design your website go to the Contacts page and drop us an email. We'll then contact you either by email or by phone to discuss your exact requirements and provide you with a free, no obligation quote. After that we require a 25% deposit to start work on your site. This fee includes registering your domain name for you. Should you decide not to continue with your order we'll refund your deposit minus any costs already incurred on your behalf. We'll provide you with a proof of all work before it's published on the net. Once everyone is happy we'll invoice you for the remaining balance and, once received, your website will be online within 5 working days.

14. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UK cheques or payment by major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta, etc.) If you choose to pay by credit card the transaction will be conducted via a secure server so you can be sure that your details will be kept safe

15. Bottom line - what do I get for my money?
Our packages are laid out nice and simple. If you chose the three page design package then you will get 3 pages, 100Mb of hosting, .co.uk domain name, 5 email addresses and search engine registration. Exactly what it says on the tin. Should you choose to go for a more bespoke option then you will receive a full quote before parting with any money. We're in the business of providing good quality websites, not ripping you off. You can be assured that your website will be exactly what you ordered for the price you agreed to pay.
